Russian MMA fighter Shamil Abdurakhimov, who competes in the heavyweight category, is no longer a UFC fighter. It was reported by UFC Roster Watch on social networks.
Abdurakhimov, 41, is currently on a streak of four straight losses. On Jan. 22 at UFC 283, Shamil lost to Jailton Almeida by TKO in the second round.
Abdurakhimov earned his last win under the UFC banner in April 2019 at UFC Fight Night 149, defeating Marcin Tybura by TKO in the second round. He has 20 wins and eight losses on his record.
