Saint-Denis Announces Tsarukyan Pulled Out Of Their Grappling Match

French mixed martial arts fighter Benoit Saint-Denis announced on social media that Arman Tsarukyan has withdrawn from their grappling bout, which was scheduled to take place on May 18 in Paris, France.

Benoit wrote on social media:

ARMAN!!! Once again you opened your mouth for nothing. In addition to lying, you disappoint all the fans. I can’t wait to meet you in the octagon to choke you.

Tsarukyan last fought against Charles Oliveira on April 14 at UFC 300. In that fight, which lasted the entire distance, Arman won by split decision of the judges. He has 22 wins and three losses on his record.

Saint-Denis last stepped into the octagon against Dustin Poirier in March of this year at UFC 299. That fight, which was stopped in the second round, ended in a knockout defeat for Benoit. The Frenchman has 13 wins and two losses on his record, with one fight declared a no-contest.
