Strickland: UFC Don't Want Me Sitting With A Mic On The Main Stage, So They Don't Give Me A Title Shot

Former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland believes the strongest league's management is intentionally keeping him from having a title fight again.

Strickland said in an interview with Shak MMA:

I'm next in line for the belt. No, it's not Robert Whittaker, it's me. If they give Robert (Whittaker) the title shot, it's for one reason, it's for one reason. They don't want me holding this (microphone) on the main stage. I'm next in line, dude, there's no argument in it, it is a f****** fact.

Strickland last stepped into the octagon against Paulo Costa on June 2 at UFC 302. This fight lasted the whole distance and ended in favor of Sean by split decision. The American lost the belt after losing by split decision to South African Dricus du Plessis. He has 14 wins and four losses.
