Tsarukyan Suspended From Fighting For Nine Months For Scuffle With Fan At UFC 300

The Nevada State Athletic Commission (USA) has ruled against Armenian UFC lightweight fighter Arman Tsarukyan for a scuffle with a fan at UFC 300 this April.

Tsarukyan was disqualified for nine months and will also have to pay a $25,000 fine. The penalty expires on 12 January 2025, but can be reduced to six months if he releases a video as part of the company's anti-bullying campaign.

Tsarukyan, while walking out to fight Brazilian Charles Oliveira, attempted to punch a fan who was showing him obscene gestures. The fight between Arman and Charles lasted the whole distance and ended in favor of the Armenian fighter by a split decision of the judges. He has 22 wins and three losses in mixed martial arts.
