Current UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones plans to return to the octagon in 2025 and is already in negotiations with the promotion for his next fight.

Jones last fought Stipe Miocic on November 17 in the main event of UFC 309. In that bout, which was stopped in the third round, Jon won by technical knockout. His mixed martial arts record stands at 28 wins and one loss, with one fight ruled as a no contest.
