UFC middleweight champion Alex Pereira has reacted to the league's light heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill's statement about their hypothetical fight.
Recall that Hill had earlier confidently stated that he would knock out Pereira if he moved up to light heavyweight.
I heard that Prochazka is injured. How about knocking me out?
Pereira last fought against New Zealander Israel Adesanya in November 2022 at UFC 281. Alex won that bout by TKO in the fifth round to become the UFC middleweight champion. He has seven wins and one loss under his belt.
Hill last stepped into the Octagon against Brazilian Glover Teixeira on January 22 at UFC 283. That fight lasted the whole distance and ended in favor of Jamahal via unanimous decision of the judges. Thus, he won the UFC bantamweight championship belt. He has 12 wins and one defeat under his belt.
