Russian UFC fighter Irina Alekseeva, in an exclusive interview with marvelgamingbet.com, shared her thoughts on the upcoming title trilogy between Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko.
"I actually believe that Valentina won the second fight, but you can't argue with the judges. For us, she will always be the champion. I am confident that this time she will win. She will be even more focused and will rely on herself only. She already knows that judges may not give her the victory in a close fight," Alekseeva said.
It would be perfect for her to win with a beautiful submission. Analyzing the fight itself, I believe Shevchenko will act similarly to the second fight, but will focus on taking all the rounds. We are cheering for Valentina, and I hope she will be on a roll that night and make us all happy.
As a reminder, the third fight between Grasso and Shevchenko will take place on September 15 at UFC 306. In their first matchup, Grasso won by submission, while the rematch ended in a draw.
Alexa Grasso, 31 years old, holds a record of 16 wins, three losses, and one draw, while 36-year-old Valentina Shevchenko has 23 wins, four losses, and one draw to her name.
