Unified Title Fight Between Ramirez and Billam-Smith Officially Announced

Promotional company Golden Boy has announced a highly anticipated bout between WBA light heavyweight champion Gilberto Ramirez and WBO world champion Chris Billam-Smith. This fight will headline a boxing event set for November 16 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Ramirez told Golden Boy:

I've always said this was my division (cruiserweight), and I'm happy for the opportunity to showcase my skills at this level on a global stage in Riyadh.

Ramirez last entered the ring in May 2024, where he secured a unanimous decision victory over Arsen Goulamirian. He has a record of 46 wins (30 by knockout) and one loss.

Billam-Smith fought most recently in June 2024, winning a unanimous decision against Richard Riakporhe. His record stands at 20 wins (13 by knockout) and one loss.
