Usman Nurmagomedov Tells Whether He Wants To Beat Khabib's 29-0 Record

Reigning Bellator lightweight world champion Usman Nurmagomedov responded to a question about possibly breaking his brother Khabib Nurmagomedov's record.

Usman currently has 18 wins and no losses on his record, while Khabib finished his career with a 29-0 record.

Oh no, I'm not looking that far into the future. I'm really happy to be here, talking to you journalists. And what happens next is up to Allah.

Usman faced Primus in the cage on October 8 in the main event of Bellator 300. This confrontation lasted the entire distance and ended in favor of Nurmagomedov by unanimous decision of the judges. Thus, he defended the championship belt Bellator in the lightweight division.

Khabib last entered the octagon against Justin Gaethje in October 2020 at UFC 254. Nurmagomedov won that fight by technical submission in the second round. After this fight, he announced the end of his career.
