Bellator lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov compared training under the guidance of former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and Cain Velasquez.
At the pre-Bellator 300 press conference Usman said:
Khabib and Cain are different. When Khabib is there, you feel like there's a mountain behind you. I can't really compare them. But I'm very happy to have Cain in my corner. He's been giving me great advice throughout training camp.
Usman Nurmagomedov will next step into the cage against American Brent Primus at Bellator 300, which is scheduled to take place on the night of October 8 in San Diego (USA).
Nurmagomedov's last fight was against Benson Henderson in March of this year at Bellator 292. In this confrontation Usman won by choke hold in the first round. He has 17 wins and no losses on his record.
