Venezuelan Fighter KO's Opponent in Less Than Two Minutes to Get Contract with UFC

On September 4th, as part of the qualifying show for Dana White's Contender Series, a fight took place between the representative of Venezuela, Yuneisy Duben, and the Canadian athlete, Shannon Clark.

Duben delivered a knockout to Clark at the one-minute and 13-second mark of the first round, following which Dana White, the executive director of the UFC, entered the octagon and announced that Duben had achieved the biggest upset in the history of the DWCS and did not need to concern herself with the contract - she was now part of the UFC.

Duben's previous fight was in April 2024 at UFC 74, where she defeated Ingrid Garcia via technical knockout in the first round. Duben, 28, has six wins with no losses, with one fight declared a no contest.
