Heavyweight bout between Russian Alexander Volkov and Australian Tay Tuivasa will take place on September 9 at UFC 293 tournament at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney.
In his last fight, held in March 2023 at UFC Fight Night 221, Volkov defeated Alexander Romanov by TKO in the first round. Alexander, 34, has 36 wins and ten losses under his belt.
Tuivasa, 30, last competed in the UFC on ESPN 42 in December 2022, when he lost to Sergei Pavlovich by TKO in the first round. He has 15 wins and five losses under his belt.
