16-year-old cyber athlete won Street Fighter V tournament and silently walked off the stage

A 16-year-old cyber athlete nicknamed EndingWalker surprised everyone at the Ultimate Fighting Arena tournament. After winning, he simply stood up from his chair and left the stage live.

EndingWalker triumphed in the finals of the Street Fighter V competition. He shook hands with his opponent, took his belongings and left the stage, walking past his cup. Event organizers and family immediately rushed after the player to bring him back to the stage.

EndingWakler later explained that he just didn't realize he had won, so he calmly left the stage. Fans compared him to a fighting game character named Ryu, who did the same thing in the Street Fighter 2 finale.

Ultimate Fighting Arena was held from November 11 to 13 in Paris. Street Fighter V tournament gave away seven thousand euros of prize money. There were also events for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Tekken 7, King of Fighters XV, Guilty Gear Strive, Dragon Ball FighterZ and MultiVersus.
