Tournament operator ESL has updated its own ranking of the world's best Dota 2 teams. Thanks to the victory at the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 Championship, Azure Ray (4,800) took first place.
Gaimin Gladiators (4,000) took second place, and BetBoom Team (4,000) rounded out the top three. Team Liquid (3,200) and Team Spirit (2,400) were also in the top 5.
Other teams in the top 10 were Falcons (1,680), G2.iG (1,680), OG (896), Tundra Esports (780) and Team Secret (780).
In the final of ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, Azure Ray defeated Gaimin Gladiators 3-2, making a comeback after 0-2. The Chinese team received 4.8 thousand EPT points and $300,000 in prize money for their first-place finish.
The next big ESL tournament on the Dota 2 pro scene will be DreamLeague Season 22. BB Team, Gladiators, Liquid and Azure Ray have already qualified for it. The championship will take place from February 25 to March 10, 2024 in an online format. 16 teams will battle it out for a million dollars in prize money and ranking points.
