On November 26, the one-day group stage for the first Dota 2 tournament organized by BLAST took place. Today, the playoff stage of BLAST Slam I kicks off.
In the inaugural day of BLAST Slam I, BetBoom Team topped Groups A and B, defeating Xtreme Gaming and HEROIC, while Team Liquid also triumphed over Team Spirit and OG. HEROIC and Team Spirit found themselves at the bottom of the tables, losing both of their matches today.
Today's matches will be:
- 18:00 HEROIC vs. Team Spirit;
- 21:00 OG vs. Team Falcons.

The format may seem unusual, as BLAST Slam I is the first tier-1 Dota 2 tournament organized by BLAST, a company primarily known for Counter-Strike events. There will be no tiebreakers; positions will be ranked based on Buchholz scores, giving higher ranks to teams that have defeated tougher opponents.
The BLAST Slam tournament runs from November 26 to December 1 in Copenhagen. Competitors, including Team Spirit, BetBoom Team, Team Liquid, and Team Falcons, are vying for a prize pool of one million dollars.
