According to The Telegraph, British pool player Lynne Pinches refused to play in the final of a tournament against transgender Harriet Haynes and withdrew from the deciding match at a pool competition in Denbighshire, Wales.
It should be noted that the tournament organizers declared Haynes the winner.
Earlier in the UK transgender people were banned from participating in women's rowing competitions.
In mid-October, transgender people won gold and silver medals in the women's competition at the Chicago Cyclocross Cup.
