Former figure skater Kostomarov suffers another stroke, which caused blockage of brain vessels

According to Sport-Express, Olympic champion in figure skating Roman Kostomarov suffered another stroke, which resulted in a cerebrovascular blockage.

It is noted that Kostomarov spent the whole night in intensive care. The ex-figure skater was given plasmapheresis (blood purification) due to blood sepsis. He was diagnosed with secondary meningitis.

Recall, on January 10, Match TV reported on the hospitalization of Kostomarov. After that, he spent about two weeks in a coma, which caused numerous complications and body dysfunctions. On the night of February 15, it became known about a rapid deterioration of his condition due to fibrosis in his left lung. Before that, the former figure skater had both feet amputated.
