Natus Vincere organization has officially confirmed on their social networks the rumors that Oleksandr s1mple Kostyliev is going to miss IEM Sydney 2023.
The team did not name the reason for s1mple's absence at the tournament. The player's brother said that the reason for the sniper's absence was problems with his documents.
Natus Vincere's lineup at the tournament:
- Valeriy "b1t" Vakhovskiy;
- Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen;
- Justinas "jL" Lekavicius;
- Ivan "iM" Mihai;
- Andrij "B1ad3" Ghorodensjkyj (coach).
IEM Sydney 2023 will take place from October 16-22 in a LAN format in Sydney, Australia. 16 teams will play for a prize pool of $250,000 and a slot at IEM Katowice 2024.
