All the main matches in Group B of Dota 2 Riyadh Masters 2023 have finished. Therefore, almost all the participants of the playoffs have been revealed.
BetBoom Team stayed on top of Group B with a decent lead on points, making it to the playoffs upper bracket. Team Aster, Team Liquid and Talon Esports also earned their slots.
Team Secret secured a spot in the lower bracket, while Shopify Rebellion, TSM, and Tundra Esports earned the same number of points. These three teams will compete in the re-matches for a spot in the loser's bracket of the playoffs.
The tie-breaks will begin on July 24 at 18:20 GMT+3. Shopify Rebellion, TSM, and Tundra will play for a single playoff spot. The remaining two teams will be eliminated from the championship.
As a reminder, Quest Esports, Team Spirit and Gaimin Gladiators made it to the upper bracket of playoffs at Riyadh Masters 2023 in Group A, while OG and Xtreme Gaming dropped out of the championship.
In turn, 9 Pandas, Evil Geniuses, and PSG.LGD will battle it out in replay matches to advance to the upper bracket of the championship playoffs.
The playoff matches will start on July 25 and last until July 30. 12 teams will play in the Double-elimination grid. All games will be played in bo3 (up to two wins) format, while the finals will be played in bo5 (up to three wins) format.
Riyadh Masters 2023 takes place July 19-30 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The top 20 teams from around the world battle it out for $15 million of prize money. The winner will receive $5 million.
