Djokovic Says ATP Finals are No Longer His Objectives

Serbian tennis player and former world number one Novak Djokovic has stated that he is not prioritizing the ATP Finals in 2024.

Djokovic was quoted as saying by Ubitennis:

The ATP Finals and being at the top of the rankings are no longer objectives for me. I do not know if I will play the finals this year or next, but right now, what I need the most is physical, mental, and emotional rest to decide what comes next in my career, how much more I want to play, and where.

Currently, Novak Djokovic is in ninth place in the race for the ATP Finals, which will take place from November 10 to 17 in Turin, Italy. The tournament will feature the top eight players in the rankings.

The 24-time Grand Slam champion and Olympic gold medalist expressed his thoughts on Wimbledon as well. Djokovic mentioned that winning the 2024 Olympics in Paris would be the greatest achievement of his career.
