Djokovic Wants to Play at 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles

24-time Grand Slam winner and world number two Novak Djokovic admitted that he plans to play at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, USA.

Djokovic told AFP:

I want to play in Los Angeles, I enjoy playing for my country in the Olympic Games, in the Davis Cup.

On Sunday, August 4, Novak Djokovic defeated Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz in the final of the Olympic tournament in Paris (France) with the score 7:6 (7:3), 7:6 (7:2) and became the Olympic champion.

It should be noted that the Serb won gold at the Olympics for the first time in his career. The 37-year-old Djokovic completed the Golden Career Slam: victories at all Grand Slam tournaments and the title at the Olympic championship.

Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal congratulated Novak Djokovic on winning a gold medal at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

The Serbian tennis player himself admitted earlier that he was thinking about ending his professional career.
