Nadal Snaps At Retirement Questions After Djokovic Loss: Every Day You Want Me To Retire

Rafael Nadal reacted sharply to reporters after his defeat to Novak Djokovic at the Paris Olympics, where Djokovic won 6-1, 6-4. The loss marked another tough moment for Nadal, who is considering his future after struggling with injuries over the past two years.

At the post-match press conference Nadal expressed his frustration with the question about his retirement plans:

Rafael Nadal
Every day, huh? Every day you want me to retire, every day guys. You ask me for that every single day. I have been suffering a lot of injuries the last two years so if I feel that I am not competitive enough to keep going or physically I’m not ready enough to keep going, I will stop and I will let you know.

Nadal is set to return to Roland Garros to compete in men’s doubles with Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz. Known as the King of Clay, Nadal boasts 14 French Open titles at this iconic venue.
