Novak Djokovic's Uncle Becomes President of Serbian Tennis Federation

The Serbian Tennis Federation (TSS) announced on its official website that Goran Djokovic, the uncle of 24-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic, has been elected as the organization's new president and head of the board of directors.

Goran Djokovic was elected during an extraordinary election assembly of the TSS held in Belgrade.

Novak Djokovic, 37, recently became the third tennis player in history to achieve a career Golden Slam, which includes victories at the Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon, the US Open, and the Olympic Games.

Previously, this achievement was only accomplished by Andre Agassi from the USA and Rafael Nadal from Spain. Additionally, the Serbian player became the oldest Olympic champion in men's singles tennis since 1988.

Djokovic has also stated that he does not aspire to participate in the ATP Finals.
