Russia's Alexander Shevchenko defeated his countryman Pavel Kotov in the final of the qualification tournament ATP-500 in Nur-Sultan.
The match lasted 2 hours and 19 minutes and ended with Shevchenko winning in two sets. It is noteworthy that Shevchenko was leading 4-0 in the first set but Kotov managed to catch up and lead the game to the tie-break, where Alexander was stronger nevertheless.

Apart from Shevchenko, the main grid of the tournament will feature Russian tennis players Daniil Medvedev, Andrei Rublev, Karen Khachanov and Aslan Karatsev.
The prize fund of the tournament in Kazakhstan is $1.9 million. Its current winner is Korean Kwon Soon-woo.
