Sinner Opens Up About Impact of Doping Case on His Life

Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner, currently ranked number one in the world, shared how he felt upon learning about his positive doping test.

Sinner was quoted by La Gazzetta dello Sport, referencing Sky Sport:

I can say that it was difficult because I couldn't open up to many people, it was a delicate and difficult situation. At the beginning everything was complicated, I didn't know how to act, I didn't know what would happen, what would happen with the team.

Sinner mentioned that a few weeks later, he woke up one morning and told himself he hadn’t done anything wrong and was unaware of what was going on.

Previously, it has been reported that Sinner will end the year in the top position of the ATP men's world rankings for the first time in his career.
