However, with Vincent Kompany confident of pulling off a historic record as an English manager in Bayern Munich, I do not see him fielding his second team players, expected after a less than first team performance in their weekend game against Bochum. While the odds suggest this could be a close contest, Champions League games at this level demand quality play and experience, and it all goes to the Bayern Munich side with players like Jamal Musiala, Harry Kane, Alphonso Davies, and Joshua Kimmich expected to be inspiration for the visiting side. I will back Bayern Munich, given a better team and overall experience to play in matches of high pressure like this, even though on the road to win.

Liverpool vs Paris Saint Germain

This game is the highlight of the day, and it is a very open one with the two teams having a solid chance of making it to the next round. After a less than stellar performance in Paris that still saw Arne Slot's side secure a win, I believe they will suffer another struggling play here. Looking at the Paris Saint Germain team, I believe this inspired Luis Enrique side has a lot to offer, as they should display a more potent side offensively this time. Yet, Liverpool at Anfield with their atmosphere is just on another level and they have proven how brilliant they could perform at this venue. However, I believe Paris Saint Germain could get a win in either half of this game provided they show their competitiveness like the first leg.
