Luton Town will be looking to respond to some dire form in the Championship as they return to action after the international break. In a very disappointing season since relegation from the Premier League the team finds itself in 21st position with just 15 points after 15 games. The Luton Town side has been beaten eight times and conceded 26 goals, the worst after Portsmouth in the division.
Most of Luton's wins have come at home, with only one victory in their last five games. Their most recent result was a 1-0 win against Cardiff City, thanks to a goal from Jacob Brown. However, they were handed a heavy 5-1 defeat by Middlesbrough in their previous match.
With the pressure building, manager Rob Edwards would be keen to hit back and record a much-needed win at Kenilworth Road on Saturday.
Luton Town Predicted Lineup
Kaminski; Holmes, Mengi, McGuinness; Hashioka, Baptiste, Nakamba, Bell; Chong; Morris, Adebayo
Hull City form
Their visitors are travelling south in a similar vein after a difficult start to the new Championship campaign. Having appointed Tim Walter over the summer, Hull City have found themselves unable to get into their stride in England's second tier. Seated in 19th place having finished seventh last term, they have won just three times so far.
Early blows - Three wins came in the last week of September and first week of October, but since then, it's been difficult for the Tigers to add to their tally, as they've picked up just three points in seven games. They drew 1-1 against Burnley, Derby County, and Portsmouth before consecutive defeats to Oxford United and West Bromwich Albion, the latter of whom Karlan Grant and Josh Maja scored early goals for them in their most recent match at the MKM Stadium.
Going into this match, Hull City will be under pressure from the team and Walter to get their fourth win of the Championship season this weekend and start creating some breathing room.
Hull City Predicted Starting Lineup
Pandur; Coyle, Jones, Hughes, Drameh; Simons, Slater; Omur, Puerta, Kamara; Pedro
Luton Town vs Hull City Expert Picks
Saturday's match is important for both sides after what has been an uphill struggle to pick up points for either team. Luton Town has yet to show what they're really capable of since returning to the Championship, but they should enjoy a reasonably comfortable win at Kenilworth Road against a Hull City side who haven't been confident enough.
