QPR has not managed to repeat the same pattern of the previous season with only spirited draws against Coventry City and Burnley to avoid relegation into the bottom. Their match against Burnley was the high point of the season thus far, earning six points from their away games as they drew goalless with Burnley. They managed to score in all of the six home games that they played at Loftus Road but have not recorded a win on their ground.

Sunderland fans are already feeling very optimistic about a promotion success campaign despite the fact that the season is not more than a quarter gone by. Under new head coach Regis Le Bris, the team has bagged an impressive 28 points from their first 12 games, leaving the club five points ahead of Burnley, who comes in second. Though not spectacular, Sunderland has been effective in their play in winning matches against Hull City, Luton Town, and Oxford United after the international break.

The impressive defensive performance against Burnley means that Cifuentes is likely to stick with the same QPR starting line-up for the next game.

Lucas Andersen can play as an attacking midfielder or can push Ilias Chair to a wider area from his usual midfield midfield playing position. Kenneth Paal and Jack Colback probably won't make the cut tomorrow. Le Bris expects in the absence of injury; he will be giving much the same starting side again as against Oxford this game. Some of their first teamers are being sent back into the frame whilst Aji Alese remains unavailable along with Ian Poveda. Wilson Isidor is expected to lead the charge again for QPR after scoring in four of his last six matches. While QPR have had a pretty abysmal home season, they have the capacity to triumph at Loftus Road. At the moment, though, Sunderland's form hints at an ugly away win.
