They ended up as the 3rd best team in the just concluded (COSAFA) Council of Southern Africa Football Association tournament. They defeated Mozambique in (5-3) penalty shootouts.

They have won twice, drawn once and lost two times in the last five matches. They are ranked 143rd in FIFA ratings and have never appeared in the AFCON tournament.
